I finally got around to cracking open the barrel of rum sitting in my office. It's contents are about three years old now. I guess you could call it a single barrel rum. The photo of the 3 litre bottle had the water added first and then the rum. As you can see water must be heavier than rum!! I did it 50% water and 50% rum as the rum was originally about 80% alcohol in the barrel.
Will give it a good tasting later. party2.gif

It's interesting that the rum is so much lighter than the rum. The best way to dilute rum is to stir it while sloooowly adding water. Adding an equal amount of water and shaking it up doesn't do it justice. The water should be blended and not just mixed.
