David Morrison - Blender Appleton Rums

David Morrison will be at the opening of BevMo's 100th store in Torrance, Rolling Hills (http://www.bevmo.com/Misc/contentpage.aspx?contentpageid=252), Saturday Oct 24th from 11am to 1pm.

Appleton wasn't listed the last time I looked at their website but I have confirmed this with the importer who is arranging his transportation.

Edward why was this not on the website a little earlier, I LOVE Appleton and would have traveled to Torrance if I had know. Don't keep secerts from the forum!!!!!:mad:

I would have really liked to meet the Master distiller David Morrison.....Too Bad.:mad:

David is 'The Senior' Blender, Joy Spence is "the Master". . .
That being said David is articulate, well informed, passionate and fun to listen to.. If anyone gets a chance to meet him-- take it!

It was a bit disappointing that after confirming two interview appointments with David, the Kobrand regional manager wouldn't allow me to meet David again after the dinner at Eva's.

I have been assured that I will be able to bring you an interview with him when he returns from his vacation.

So what does a man that tastes rum for a living do on vacation? I can't imagine that he doesn't enjoy a glass of rum on the beach somewhere.
