RRI is very pleased to annouced that we have been granted registration status (listing pending) of Hispaniola Mamajuana!!

Between ourselves and Erick at Mas Spirits...Hispaniola Mamajuana should be a dominant force in North America very soon.

We've been at this for some time and we were very pleased to see the great response from the MoR folk at the New York Tasting.

We had a little sneak peak of our own at one of the Reef Rum Nights. Thank you to Vanpatt and Rumdealer for the encouragement and "tight lippedness" over the last few months as this deal came together.

That's right it's la bodequita, one of Hemingway's hangouts in Havanna. They served the best Mojito I've ever had. Sounds to me that you won't have too long to wait for a visit with the improved relations. Enjoy that million cases of cuban rum I've read about coming your way, and hope the cigars are soon to follow!

Well Christmas has come and gone but Hispaniola Mamajuana has now landed on the BC shores.

I'll post a SKU when we are all registered and ready for orders.

If you want to order a case, great! Go to or call in your order from any store.

If 6 bottles is out of your price range (or liver capacity), I suggest going to your favorite private store and asking them to make an order on your behalf and shelving whatever amount you don't wish to buy. *Only private stores will do this.

If you do take the second option please let us know which store and a contact name so we can follow up with them.

Thanks to Ed's MOR Festival at Papillion Bistro this past Fall in New York Hispaniola Mamajuana lives to rule the exotic island drink mixography! I attended a launch party hosted by Erik and Co. at the Mamajuana Cafe in Washington Heights (the turf of Manny Ramirez & A-Rod), a few months ago, where the Mamaguava, Mamamojito and Mamangotinis flowed like nectar from the DR (Dominican Republic) Gods! The music and the women fueled by these Love Potions partied all night long. To add to the moment, HEWCIGARS.COM from DR flavored the air as we walked in. Rumor has it Hugo Melo the CEO is contemplating a Mamajuana flavored smoke which will be pure Smoke Heaven. I have been dipping my stogies in the stuff since they started selling it up in the Heights a few months ago. As a mixologist, everything from Planter's Punches to Bahama Mamas are going to get a new kick in the cojones (balls) just to get things started! From Santo Domingo to Punta Cana its called Street Viagra...Vroom!!!And they should know...Long live Hispaniola Mamajuana!

I have heard nothing but good things about BC. It's on my bucket list unless you can wrangle me a job out there like Ed's! Rum Raconteur for Hire! Can't wait to hear Ed's take on the bottle of Flor de Cana Centenario Gold 18 Year Old, I bought today. It was all they had left on the shelf, so I guess I'll just have to suffer it while my more diligent rum mates ponder the possibilities of the 7 Year Old subject spirit. I didn't want to be a party pooper.
