California liquor stores

Will be heading down I-5 to Sacramento, then to San Francisco in the next week. Are there any specific liquor stores on the way with huge selection and great deals to stock up for winter?

When in San Francisco check out Cask or call Mikes Liquor. Mikes has a good selection and have free delivery (if over 100.00). I tried them two weeks ago when I was there and was pleased with their service. I picked up Mount Gay 1703 for 79.99 from them.

Although I've never been to Cask, the rum listing on the website indicates that their prices are quite high for this area. The online rum inventory is also pretty limited. Are more selections available in the store?

They had about 20 different rums. I picked up the Thomas and Leopold single cask for about 47 dollars. You need to understand that those from Canada find most of the prices cheap in comparison. For example Zaya is about 75 dollars in Canada.

The website isn't quite up to snuff; some of the prices are clearly in error ($50 for Regan's Bitters). It is clear that the prices are generally a good bit higher than bevmo, etc.

The selection of bitters is, however, excellent. They even carry several of the offerings from The Bitter Truth, albeit $20 or more for a bottle of bitters could give one pause.
