A Mountain of Crushed Ice

Hi, i am Tiare living in Sweden.I`m running a cocktail and spirits blog that i call "A Mountain of Crushed Ice" - the name coming from that i really like a mountain of crushed ice in especially Tiki drinks which are close to my heart.

I`ve been sampling and collecting rums for about 2-3 years but i have drunk it longer..my first "love" was the 15 year El Dorado and today i especially collect demerara rums. When i say "collect" to me that doesn`t mean i store them on my shelves for display, it means i use and enjoy them.

My favorite dark rums are two: El Dorado 15 year and Silver Seal 15 year demerara.Seems like 15 is the magic number, not 3.

But my favorite white rums are actually 3: El Dorado 3 year old white, Oronoco and Elements Eight.

I have 2 favorite cachacas too - Rainha Das Gerais and Abelha.

My blog is primarily a cocktail blog with everything from cocktails to spirit reviews and bar-tools etc
