NYC event, when's last call?

Anybody know when the party is over for the up coming NYC event? Only reason I am asking is because Im trying to time my train for leaving the city. Actually while Im at it should I eat an early dinner before or throw down food with the rum while there? I like the idea of food before as I think I'll need it to hit the long ball with some of you. Hope to see some of you there.

The New York Ministry of Rum Festival will be over at 9pm but closing time in NY is as rumdog007 mentions is 4am.

Eating before an event like this is always a good idea. Unfortunately, I probably won't have time to eat much before this event but will be going out after I've finished cleaning up.

The rum list (http://www.ministryofrum.com/events/newyork09.php) for the New York Ministry of Rum Festival is growing, and a lot of the decision makers are on vacation until the first of September.

AS much as I like to say X,Y and Z are going to be showing their products I can't do it until I have a commitment from those with the authority to say they'll do it.

The good news is that this afternoon Diplomatico Rum Blanco joined the party. They're expected to get Diplomatico Blanco going in NY this fall.

I appreciate the rum list, but at the end of the day if none of them show and we end up taking down the rum inventory at the bar while talking to fellow rum lovers, I can go to bed knowing I had a great time!glass.gif

You picked a good day for the Festival Ed - hopefully you'll get some additional traffic from the folks in town on Oct 3 & 4 for the preview weekend of the Manhattan Cocktail Classic (www.manhattancocktailclassic.com).

Some you coming to town for the Festival may want to consider coming a day or two early to check out some of the MCC, which is supposed to be like another Tales of the Cocktail type event.
