Tesco are increasing their rum range

Trois Rivieres Agricole Blanc is available at larger branches of Tesco at Ј17.99 a bottle. This is the first time I've seen an Agricole on sale at a major British supermarket. I'm not sure if this is an introductory special offer or not.

Tesco also has Lamb's Spiced Rum on sale, although I can't remember the price as I don't think I'll be buying any. This seems to be a completely new product - I've certainly never seen it before.

Hi, thank you for your interest in Rhum Trois Riviиres. Trois Riviиres started to be sold by Tesco in end of August 2009. Trois Riviиres blanc was listed by Tesco because we won their white spirit contest. Every year Tesco tries many white spirits (Rum/Rhum, Gin, Tequila, Vodka,...) and the best of all gets a listing in 200 Tesco shops.

The recomended retail price is Ј18,99 and there will be a Ј2 off on promotion soon.

Tesco have just reduced the price of Trois Rivieres from Ј19.49 to Ј15.00. It seems to be quite popular as they were sold out at Osterley (Middlesex) branch a few hours ago.

tesco's is shockingly poor for everything, not just rum; does it really sell trois rivieres or is it select London?

I haven't been to a large Tesco for a while, so I'm not sure if they still have the Trois Rivieres on special offer. I wouldn't call Tesco "shockingly poor", but I have certainly noticed a deterioration over the last few months.
