I've heard good things about other Inner Circle rums, but I've only seen that the 90 Blue Dot has won a gold medal or two at a competition. Has anyone had this? What do you think? At $14 a bottle, I'm tempted to pick up a couple to try.
I also am curious about the Black Dot, so any comments on either the Blue or Black Dots would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hi, I tried the Inner Circle Blue and Green for the first time since they were both sold cheap at BevMo in SoCal. I really liked the Green Dot. The Blue would work well with a Rum and Coke. Also, it would be a welcome upgrade over Bacardi Gold if your were serving up some for a ton of guests. The Green works well in Tiki drinks when the rum needs to stand out a little. It is quite smooth. I went back and stocked up!

I prefer the 114 proof Green Dot blend of Inner Circle Rum for mixing as it has a lot of balanced flavor.

I received a bottle of the Green Dot 114 proof for Christmas and really enjoyed it. It's a good mixing rum. I do drink it over the rocks on occasion. Good rum with a nice history. I'm glad Stuart brought it back from extinction. Now LNA needs to keep the tradition alive as they bought it out this year.
