I have never heard of it...but that is not the end all. I am fair at agricole knowledge but not an expert. Look for the AOC label, this will guide you towards a more true martinique agricole.

There is a lot of discussion about that rum on this forum (http://www.ministryofrum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=502).
While I'm not surprised that it is still being sold in the US, it should be clear that there is no such thing as the Appellation Rhum Controllee.
There is however an Apellation d’Origine Contrфlйe Martinique. Having become very familiar with Martinique rhum agricole I can say that Chauffe Coueur does not taste like any other rhum from that island. I have been in contact with the importers, there have been several to date, and no one has been able to tell me from where it comes.
If you like it, drink it. But please don't confuse it with Martinique rhum agricole.
