Just had a coworker come back from Jamacia with a bottle of Sangsters Rum Cream that I asked her to pick up for me since I have been wanting to try it and have not been able to find it here in the US. Holy Cow this blows every other rum cream I have ever tried out of the water. This stuff rocks!!!! Wish I could find it locally so I could stock up, guess I will have to savor this bottle and wait for one of my other Jamacain co-workers to head back home for a visit..... If you ever get a chance to pick up a bottle, do so!!!!

I have a variety of the Sangster's Rum Creams and the El Dorado, and the Crisma from Barbados. These are the best ones. Each different, each wonderful.

Although rum cream can be sipped alone, and is delicious that way, it also makes a decadent topping for ice cream and such.

It is a fine cocktail ingredient, e.g. Tiare's wonderful:

Welcome to the World of Rum Dave.

well id like to think that rum and i have had a wonderfully torrid affair, considering i make the stuff, but apparently, i still have a lot to learn.

i think its wonderful how different an experience with rum is on the west coast vs the east.. so much history there before "we" even existed.

Sangsters is good, but the only rum cream I can find locally is Cruzan Rum Cream. It's not as thick, but very tasty on the rocks!

Which leads us even further back into history and culture...Island to Island...Country to Country. A wonderful journey as we continue to learn.
