It is with great regret that I am posting the sad news that my friend John Bryan (http://www.john-saint-john.com) passed away last week. Over the years John and I crossed tacks up and down the islands and found time to share some rum and stories in some quiet, and some not so quiet, anchorages from Trinidad to the Virgin Islands.
John was most comfortable with a guitar in his hand but also enjoyed writing and pursued it with the same passion he expressed for music, sailing and living life to its fullest.
Always quick to share, his quiet demeanor and quest for knowledge and experience were an example for others. He will be missed, but for John it is more important for others to live than to regret the undone deed of goodwill toward others.
