My wonderings had me find the Neisson site today and low and behold it looks like one can order from them. Problem is the words are in French so I'll have to wait till the misses gets home tonight to translate. Prices are in euros and with shipping costs I don't know if its a deal or not but thought I'd pass along. Thought Hank Koestner might like it.

James, it is my understanding that Neisson's online store is only selling and shipping to France.:(

shucks, hardly seems fair a man can get any french red that can be imagined but trying to get a good agricole is about as easy as stealing a Renoir:( O well, thanks rum runner for settin' me straight.

Depending on your state there are a few places that will ship Neisson to you in the US. Click on online stores at the bottom of this page (http://www.ministryofrum.com/rumdetails.php?r=521).

Ed my jaw just dropped, and Im not joking about that either. I have been on this site for over a year and have seen the rum info pages countless of times and the bottom part never registered with my brain. Holy smokes I could be doing a walk about of all the little rum oasis stores in my area this weekend.you rock.gif

I've had great luck with a company in New York called Drink Up....their website should be here in the MOR directory....they have all the Neissons line.....

Thanks RonJames, but I do order my Neisson from New York. It was great to look at the site, though.

Thought I'd try guys. Figured it be better to share a potential prize/bust then to hoard a great deal. Besides the only agricole I have had so far is clement premiere cane, which was good, but is probably an introduction at best to agricoles.

Can you send a link to that site J? The only one I found was for a site called DrinkUpNy..and they stated that they cannot ship to Canada, Mexico and Puerto Rico.

This is the link for DrinkUpNY Rum Runner:

http://www.drinkupny.com/

Clicking on the link for International Shipping Info at the left gives rates for Canada and Mexico. There isn't a listing for Puerto Rico, but an inquiry is certainly warranted. The FAQ indicates that in creating an account one's country will appear in the drop down menu, if the company ships to that country.

As with many retailers, not all items are equally favorably priced, but some are bargains, especially in light of the free shipping offer for the U.S. Perhaps that offer covers Puerto Rico as well.

They generally ship very quickly.

Thanks for the link Michael. thankyou.gif I'm over to check it out. I found this on the FAQ page.

"6. Is international shipping available?
Yes! We ship worldwide. However, we are unable to ship to Canada, Mexico or Puerto Rico due to legal restrictions."

The shipping destination drop down menu on check out has Puerto Rico listed.

Indeed Michael, Puerto Rico is listed...As a Country separate from the USA. This is usually not a good thing when it comes to on-line ordering from my experience.

I tried calling their toll free 24/7 customer service hotline and was met with an endless busy signal.

I have sent an email inquiry and will await a response.

The bright note is that I found that their store front is in the Park Slope area of Brooklyn...and I have a good friend who lives there. There is more than one way to skin a cat!

Not to worry Michael.glass.gif It's amazing how many USA based on-line shops list Puerto Rico as a separate Country.

I did receive a positive reply to my email from Kamal, and we are working out the details.

Michael is dead on. I order from them regularly and shipping is free for the US if the products total more than $100.00! Fast and reliable.

Exactly right Rumdog007. The free shipping applies to the Continental USA. That's ok by me. I'll pay the freight to get the product, without wincing. When it comes to rum, you just have to do it.

Well...I'm wincing a little. Three one liter bottles will cost about $106.00 in shipping alone to Puerto Rico. Kinda made my eyes water. I may have to go to plan "B" on this.

Kamal at Drink Up works hard to please. I think the name Borisal is what you'll find in the online store directory.

Borisal is indeed the name of the Storefront in the Park Slope area of Brooklyn.

I have no reason to believe that Kamal is not providing a worthwhile service at the best price he can and is hard working.

I am exploring other avenues also.

Kamal is all right by me if he chages no shipping. Does anyone no of other complete suppliers who have a similar policy of over $100 is free? When has it not been over $100!

It used to be $50 for free shipping from DrinkUpNY, before being changed to $100. I don't know of any other rum suppliers with a similar policy, although shipping charges do show wide variation (as do rum prices).

I recently placed an order from DrinkUpNY and found their prices to be pretty decent and better on some rums than on other sites I usually order from in Ca. I don't know any other site offering free shipping on orders over $99 either. When I factor in that they are in NY and I'm in CA, I don't have to pay any sales tax and free shipping it's a WIN one for me I figure.

My experience with DrinkUpNY was great. That's all I am saying and I'm sticking to it.
