The NH state liquor stores have recently increased their selection of better quality rums. They are now offering Ron Centenario Anejo (19.99, on sale now for 17.99), Clement VSOP for 39.99, and RZ 23 for 44.99

Just went through NH today. They have the Barbancourt 5 star on the shelf for $18.99/bottle, which is a nice price. HOWEVER, in true state govt fashion, I guess they don't know how to break down those stupid holiday co-packs, so you can have the Barbancourt 5 star in a holiday pack (comes with a glass) for $13.99/bottle!

Stacked in at least two stores (and I assume all) as of today...

That's a deal, by any measure. Holiday packs are one of those things that liquor stores love and hate. They take up more room, bring less money to the cash register are frequently delivered after the holidays when people aren't buying as much.

At $13.99, Barbancourt 5 star is a real deal, through in a glass and I would buy several. That rum doesn't go bad in the bottle and I'd drink it eventually.

Latest deal I saw, passing through NH state stores today: Goslings Black Seal 750ml, $11.99/bottle. Goslings has its place in the world, and that's a heck of a price!
