Nothing like trying to write a review for the competition!
I like the new dark Railean. Overall a rather lightly flavored but richly scented dark rum. Floral and fruity aromas, vanilla up front, with mild caramel and spicey oak in the linger. I'll score it 4.2 out of 5 stars.
I tasted it in comparison to Cruzan Dark, Doorly's 5 yr., Mt. gay Sugar Cane, Bacardi Select, New Orleans 3 yr, and Angostura 5 yr. It surpassed all except the Angostura with which it tied.
