Hi Ed et al,
Wondering about the possibility of a new section - don't know where to put it. The idea would be a 'local' section where people could start threads with their local area name in the title so people from the same area could share info on where to find particular rums that we are looking for, advise of special finds or sales or mismarked products.
I'd sure like to ask others from Boston area what they are finding out there and would like to advise of some special offers I've seen lately, but I'm sure those from London, or even other parts of the US for that matter could care less what's available here and likewise, it doesn't do me any good that ED15 is on sale in London.
Any thoughts? Would this be useful?

I don't think this is a democracy, but I too would love to see a "local" section!
It would also be a way to post "wish lists," etc.

I travel a few States for business. It would be great to have a "local" thread- so when im out on the road we can check out others fav liquor stores and rum friendly places.

You're absolutely right, but I'll try to figure out how to structure a section for locales around the world.

Not sure what you meant by that.... but wasn't trying to incite a riot or something eek.gif hence posting a suggestion in the 'suggestion and feedback' section seemed appopriate. Sorry if I did something wrong here...

Ahh...the problem with typing things, as opposed to speaking...my dry humor gets lost in space...I only meant that I was sure there was probably more to changing a website than enough people asking, but that said, let me be the first to say, "thanks Ed!" The new section is really cool, and I can't wait to see it grow!

Yes, thanks, Ed - the new section is great!
OK, Marty, I've started a few posts locally for ya!
Mr. Hamilton,
I would suggest opening a Canadian section. Not that prices vary much, but it would be a good place to tell about additions or product discontinued.
