McCain. I'm afraid Obama will take my rum from me and share it with less rum-appreciative folks (vodka drinkers, primarily).
McCain and Obama can't articulate a plan for paying down
the debt, or solving the energy crisis, or managing the health care
problem. Their silence is deafening. I'll share my rum with other kindred sprits not senators, congressmen or Presidents
Obama. If I shared it with McSame, he'd give it all to the mortgage bankers and I'd have to wait for it to trickle down...

Since Puerto Rico cannot vote in Federal elections, it's a moot point for us. As well as for most of the rest of world. It seems a bit of a loaded question. I think Mac said it best.

I am thinking John could use a good snort to console him after the devastating loss.

With conditions as they are, I'm keeping all mine for me. But here's a peek into my thinking: I had a celebratory shot on election eve. Had it gone the other way, I would have needed three shots.

Apparently, her daughter is a "really good sport" after a few slugs of Alaska moonshine, so it probably runs in the family.

If you've ever been to Wasilla, you'd know that that there are only two things to do there. One of them would be to drink rum.

Let me see, now. This is a hard one. A man that fought for his country and it's citizens freedom, and has been serving it ever since he got out of that prison camp. Or a man who was part of every organization that preached hate towards the United States and organized it's people to suck every dollar they could off of it for free. It's a hard choice but I'll go with McCain.

I've decided to get partisan. Barak's got my glass and can have my rum too! Not that I wouldn't be happy to treat John McCain to a glass by any means. I just couldn't vote for him!
Here's to a good eight years, and a better future than we walked in on.

Tell us how you really feel! :D
Some of us value intelligence, honesty and constancy in a leader. By that measure, Mr. McCain the politician (with all due respect to Captain McCain) fails miserably.
More to the point, though rum may relax the spirit (and loosen the tongue), McCain seems like a bit of a stiff, while Obama seems to be quite capable of enjoying himself. glass.gif

OK, I'm game.
I'll give you the intelligence part, but honesty and constancy? Better look back and re-evaluate. He is already becoming a puppet to the old Clinton administration. It's so easy to say I'm gonna do this and I'm gonna do that until you are in the President's position. Then you find out who's really in charge. The pollsters, the press and the special interest groups. These are the ones who manipulate the minds of those who can't think for themselves.
I have a hard time believing we let people vote who have no interest in the well being of this country. Just what they can get the Government to give them. SAD VERY SAD

Luckily citizenship and attendant voting rights aren't subject to the approval of any individual, no matter how enlightened.
I'd share a rum with either candidate, still Senator or now President. Let's not be too parochial, as our common interest in rum transcends national borders. cheers.gif

Yep. The availibility of some rums I would like to try are not in the U.S. The Rum business is sort of like politics to me. Very hard to understand.

I have to agree, Obama is all talk and no action, Mccain might be good for some Irish whiskey, Biden would really get disconnected with a few Don Q white rum and cokes, but Sara Palin should be great tasting some Pyrat XO or Don Q AƱejo.

Obama dosent have enough class to appreciate fine rum.
seems more like a cheap beer and chicken wing type guy.
Henec his infamous beer summit where he showed his class to the world.
