The Rum Fest planned for January in Old San Juan, Puerto Rico now has it's own website:-

I was trying to persuade some friends to come down, they were keen until they found out it was Superbowl weekend. I think we now number 3 though. But what better, great rum, great food, great music, great rum people, and cap it off with the biggest football game of the year, now I'm really looking forward to it!!
PS. I hope to visit some distilleries down there during my visit, so will probably stay a couple of days extra. Do you know a good local guide????g()fy

In addition to authoring this website, I can be bribed to show you around any distillery in the Caribbean. I'll be posting more on this event when I have some time to sort out a few details.

Wow this festival has some impessive hours Noon to 1 AM !!!! Not sure I could sip for that long, Looks like a blast I'm going !!!

Yeah the problem is you may wake up in a tank top, on the beach, at 11AM, with a drink still in your hand from the night before, and a sunburn... Oh wait a minute thats not a problem!!

Golly this looks like fun! With Rum Renaissance already booked for May, it will take some sort of divine intervention to allow me to make this one as well. We'll see (and keep our fingers crossed).

I hope all who do attend have a great time.
