Izze website (http://www.izze.com/#products)

I guess it's not a new product, but it's new to me. I picked up a 4 pack of the grapefruit last week. It is 70% juice, with no added sugar, and has a very nice fresh grapefruit flavor. I tried it with W&N Overproof, Appleton White, and MG Eclipse. All were good, but I particularly liked the Eclipse. I'm looking foreward to trying their other flavors.party2.gif

The mixers sound interesting.

In the interest of clarity, after perusing the Izze website, the ingredients lists make it clear that the juice may derive from a variety of fruits, not principally the one designated on the label. In the case of Izze Sparkling Grapefruit, white grape, apple and orange juice concentrates all precede grapefruit concentrate in position (and quantity).

Good observation Michael. I have sampled a number of their products. At least in my experience, the stated flavour does predominate on the palate..Even if it does not on the ingredient list.

We'll have to give the pomegranate, blueberry and perhaps grapefruit a whirl. It's hard to bypass the Ting, if we're not mixing with fresh grapefruit juice.

Fresh is best...But Ting is the thing!

Well Gentlemen... Izze is the shizzy, but Ting is the thing.

I tried the blueberry and blackberry last night, sans rum (cutting back on the weeknight drinking). Both are quite good, and a bit tart. I think the blueberry would go well with Appleton White. The blackberry on the other hand I would like to try with the MG Eclipse or perhaps Tortuga gold.

I actually found this while searching for Ting. It doesn't seem to be available around here, and I can't justify mail ordering soda for $40/case plus $28 shipping.eek.gif
