Best to ask Joy herself Rumdog...
Every province up here has its own regs and distribution policies...

There is a website for the Canadian Government Controlled Liquor Store chain that will tell you what spirits they have in what stores.
http://www.lcbo.com/
You can do a product search and find the rum, and it will even tell you which stores have how many bottles in stock. It's great and is how I acquired my bottle.

Oh dear, I guess I have to call my relative in Canada and tell her to acquire the remaining bottles in haste and send them to me before the hordes from MoR make it to Canada :P.
I got my bottle from LCBO in Barrie some time ago.

lcbo is only for Ontario (not Canada)... again, pretty much every province does its own thing...
Here's the site for the BC gov stores: http://www.bcliquorstores.com/en
Possibly a different selection, pricier, but but you may hedge with it being closer shipping wise.
I also know that BC and Alberta are set up as a semi-private system...so brands that are not sold at gov. run stores may still be availible at private stores.
One big franchise up here is : http://www.liquorstoresgp.ca/

I don't believe it's anywhere in Vancouver, or BC. I looked at the Richmond Liquor Depot on No. 3 and searched the BC liquor site.

An associte of mine has returned from Jamaica with a bottle of the Legacy for me. I am really looking forward to this rum. The price was $75 at the duty free shop.
Actually Appleton's MB is available in BC in Langley and Coquitlam....I picked up some and its wunderbar....
To get it one has to go to a 'signature' store. Both are BCLDB stores but 'signature' ones have more selection and will special order more brands.

I understand Canada is pretty much the largest volume market for Appleton. It's not often the Brits are out-drunk and for that we clumsily and drunkenly salute you

The MB is 89$ in Quebec, and 90$ in Ontario. The LCBO is selling the 21 yrs as well for 150$.

I saw the 21 year old here on base going for $77. So once the tax return gets here I am going to take a dive into that one.

that's an exceptional price. You can savor that puppy a sip at a time and make it last.
