I came across this offering from St. James. (http://www.saintjames-rum.com/saint-james.html) It's listed under "Les Series Limitees".

Any of you out there come across this one in your travels?

I first saw that white rum in Martinique in May of this year. It was slightly lighter than their rhum blanc also bottled at 50 %abv.

I look forward to tasting the white, too. The rhum blanc is one of my all time favorites and I have to order it from Europe, by the case, to have it on hand. I use it as the ultimate mixer in coctails as well as having a snort with some ice and lime.

I tasted their white rum called "Fleur de canne", that's not a bad product (at all) but as Ed said, there's not that much difference with their tradional rhum blanc agricole even if the taste of this fleur de canne is a bit more softer and fruity, it will defenitely add more sensuality to your cocktails and make all the collectors very happy...

It's been a while I haven't been throught the Saint James website, it is nice but that's a shame we still can't find an english version ... Bad marketing !!(that's often the case for the rhum banc agricole ... :( )

Thanks for that information. I see that the the Saint James website says that their English webpage is under "construction". There may be hope.
