I have one bottle that is 38% alc. and a new one that is 32%. What's going on? Did they change at some point? The 38% says Originale on the bottle...the 32% says Il Originale. BTW...I have been making alot of Hemingway Daquiri's with the Maraschino.

My own bottle has 32%. Maybe they did change as you said.

I am trying to find Luxardo here in Orlando, I really enjoy a Hemingway Daquiri.

It can definitely be hard to find in the states. I don't know about the proof change, but I'll try and get in touch with my contact at Priess Imports and find out.
I drink a ridiculous number of Aviation's(gin, maraschino, lemon juice, and I add a dash of orange bitters to mine.)Luxardo Marascino is one of the very specific things I look for to indicate a truly excellent bar.

Interesting. The bottle I bought about 2 months ago is 38%.

So it looks like they changed the recipe which is weird because one of their selling points is that this Liquer has a long storied tradition.

We bought our current bottle 3 or 4 months ago and it is 32%.
