Joy,
I would like to start off by saying that your Rum is my absoulte favorite. I am a big fan of your blending and overall product. I think your V/X is by far the best valued rum in the industry.

My Question: A lot is written about aged rum -12 year, 20 year even 30 year. In your expert opinion, what is two old? Do you believe that aged rum can only get so good at a certain point? Or do you believe that a Rum aged 10, 20, 30, even 40 years only gets better exponentially?

P.S. I would love to see a video tour on the Appelton Web site, Hosted by you of course.

Because of our unique manufacturing and ageing processes, there is no such thing as a rum from the Appleton Estate rum that is too old. The transformation of our rums as they sit in the barrel are more dramatic during the earlier years of ageing, however the longer they rest in the barrel the more smooth and mellow they become.
