I recently found a bottle of Ron Barcelу Blanco from Dominican Republic. It's a bit sweet with a warm finish. There is no age statement on the bottle, but I would guess it to be aged two years or less.

Has anyone else had experience with this rum?

It's widely available down here Robert, selling at just under $8.00. Until recently they also were selling Gran Anejo Blanco which stated "aged 4 years". It was selling for the same price as the Gran Anejo at just under $11.00. Both the whites are ok, with the Gran Anejo Blanco having a bit more character.

I'm going to dig around a bit and see if I can find Barcelу Gran Anejo Blanco. It sounds like a great white rum. Thanks for the feedback!
