I have tried several times to add pics to my threads, it doesn`t work anymore and i have to add a link to my whole flickr page instead. It used to work before very well, its like i have exceeded some kind of picture space quota, is there such a thing?
I have tried to add a link too but it doesn`t work either.
Do i need to have Photobucket if i want to add a link to just one picture?

Go to your User CP and click attachments (last link) on the left hand side and see if it displays any information. On another website that I frequent to that uses vbulletin has a limit how many attachments you can have.

Thanks Count, it shows a long red line and a text saying:
Attachment Statistics
You are currently using 1.04 MB to store 60 uploaded attachments.
This means my space for attachments is full doesn`t it?
Which means i must continue to add a link to my flickr page if i want to show just one picture for instance?

there should be a way to create a link to one individual photo, in addition to the whole site.

Which is called hotlinking. I'm not sure what flickrs policy on hotlinking is but if you want to show one image you do it like this:
1. Copy the URL of the image i.e. www.flickr.com/tiare.jpg
2. Click the yellow button in the post editor (5th from the right) and insert the link in the box that pops up. Click OK and you're done.
If you just want to type it yourself then type: link here
Is this what you meant?

Count, that should work, but I'm not familiar with flickr. I post images on the gifted rums site and link to them without limits.

It looks like the problem was that i had exceed my quota. But that is solved i hope.
But this hotlinking should maybe work as well. Maybe i should try to post a pic here from flickr to see if it works.
1: Well, the hot link dosn`t work..it just says "invalid file"
2: No..it says " Hurricane.jpg: Exceeds your quota by 1.02 MB."
3: Link to site (http://www.flickr.com/photos/13618264@N08/2577923275/) - works..as before but not what i inteded.
Got to talk to Ed...

Hotlinking works if you know where to look for the image. In Flickr, it seems, you can't just click properties and copy the image URL. Had to find the image in a less conventional way...
You can find the image from the source code if you can be bothered crawling through that. The imagefile looks something like this for each image: http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3073/2577923275_d2bd97c089.jpg

Count..how did you find it from the source code? what are the steps?
If i right click on the pic in flickr i get this:
http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3073/2577923275_d2bd97c089.jpg?v=0
Its the same as your link! but when i paste it in "the upload from url" i get the error message "invalid link"
So how did you do this Count? how did you paste that link to get into the post?

Hmm, if I right click the pic in flickr I get: http://l.yimg.com/g/images/spaceball.gif which is not the correct url. I found the correct URL from the source code, click "View" > "Source code" in Firefox or in IE click "Page" > "View source." (In Firefox its easier to find the picture).
When you are viewing the code you can use the search function to find ".jpg" for instance. You will have to go through all the jpg's until you find the correct one. Although if you get the correct link just by rightclicking the image then use the method described below:
Put the link between these code snippets in your post like I demonstrated in the post earlier: LINK HERE. This is called hotlinking, some websites do not like if you hotlink from them and some have protection against hotlinking.
You can quote my post and look how I've done it in the post editor.

I made it! so the mistake i did then was to first click on "manage attachments" and go from there..that was not the way to go. But that is then what to use when adding pics from the computer.
