Kilowatt

Discovered this drink in a restaurant in Fayetteville (The Powerhouse). Its modeled after the Hurricane.

I really enjoyed it so I made an attempt to reverse engineer it but I am not sure how successful I was.

Basically I obtained some Bacardi frozen daiquiri mix added an orange slice and then some white rum (Cruzan). To make it a Megawatt I added Wray and Nephew overproof.

Has anyone else heard of this drink? If so...what are the actual ingredients? Should I use the recipe for the Hurricane and just change it to my tastes?

Sorry Tiare for the confusion....the Kilowatt was the restaurant name for the drink.

In the process of experimenting....I came up with Megawatt because I added Wray and Nephew overproof....

Ok..its me that didn`t read carefully..

Sounds good, but i have a suggestion..instead of the frozen Bacardi Daiquri mix, use some fresh lime juice and simple syrup.

I guess it will be hard to find the recipe for the drink you had unless you go back and talk to them and/or order one more and check them when they make it..?
