Papagayo Organic Rum

I saw in the store and decided to try it (the Papagayo white rum) out of curiosity. It seems a clean rum with a light banana note but finishes rather warmly. Has anyone tried it? What are your impressions?

This rum has been around for awhile and I've had the opportunity to try several bottles. My impression was that this is a relatively light rum, there is also a spiced rum from Papagayo. As soon as I have some more information about these rums I'll add them to the database.

i didn't like the white rum at all, but i love the spiced version. it goes lovely with ginger beer.

Both are pretty untouched on our bar and haven't left much of an impression.

There are bigger collections but not necessarily anyone who takes as much joy over them :D

On the other coast, would that the Caribbean were at our doorstep. It wiil be in our sights, however, for any future outings. Perhaps the government will change such unnecessarily restrictive regulations, but those rules seem deeply ingrained. When our youngest hits 21 next year, we'll have to muster the forces and gather four times the rum on any vacation.

The rum collection is wonderful and nice to know that it is so well loved. Fine spirits are better enjoyed than admired on the shelf.

the pics of their bar is really cool but, trust me when i ve been there and was standing front of the bar i felt like a kids front of a christmas tree filled with present.that was awesome:p
