Welcome to the forum! Id love to try your rum. I have had the Tanduay 15yr and LOVE it and can only imagine trying another rum from the Philippines. As my wife and in-laws are Filipino, I will often get to try some rums from there, its only a matter of time! :)

My friend is going to Thailand next monday and I was hoping he would find Tanduay 15 year from there given its close proximity to the Philippines. Haven't heard much talk about this rum but all the talk I've heard has been good.

Hi Guy & Gina,

Please excuse my ignorance, but aren't La Tondena and Tanduay completely separate companies with independent rum lines? Do you import Tanduay rums as well?

Welcome to the Ministry. I hope to taste your products in the future! Could you give us a little more info on your rum blends, and where the original product comes from before bottling and the aging process?

Today, I acquired 4 of the 5 products of the Tondena line of rums (no anejo). I am having the Tondena 8 and can report that this is a pretty good rum. It is not the most complex rum which I have ever tasted. I would compare this rum to a upper-middle shelf Dominican style rum. I need a lot more time with it to say more. I also have the gold, white, and dark which are regarded by the company literature as mixers. BTW, the rums come with fancy little medallions hanging about their necks.
