RAMBUTAN, GINGER AND CLOVE SYRUP

So this is my latest one, i had a bunch of Rambutans, maybe 15 fruits and decided to make a syrup with them and added also some ginger and 6 cloves.
Rambutans It is closely related to several other edible tropical fruits including the Lychee, Longan and Mamoncillo.
I find the Rambutan more sweet and tasty than the Lychee so i had to hurry up with the syrup before i had eaten up all the fruits..

You make a simple syrup with 2:1 white sugar and add about 15 rambutan fruits, a 5 cm pice of Ginger, sliced and 6 cloves. Heat and stir until the sugar is dissolved, don`t boil.
Then leave to cool and the syrup is ready.Strain and bottle.

Its a sweet and a little bit spicy syrup with just a hint of Rambutan flavor and a touch of the spices.
