What`s your fav Bourbon drink?
Mine is Port Light:
1 oz Bourbon
2 oz Passionfruit juice
0.5 oz Lemon juice
0.5 oz Grenadine
Shaken, strained and served in a glass filled with crushed ice.
Maraschino cherry for garnish.
And here is Trader Vics original Port Light Cocktail:
In a blender with one scoop shave ice:
2 tsp Honey
1 oz Lemon juice
!/2 oz Mynorґs Passion Fruit nectar
1 egg white
2 oz Bourbon
Blend and pour into Port Light glass or a red tumbler with cracked ice. granish with fresh mint.
Same drink with Scotch instead of Bourbon is called Starboard Light
I'm a big fan of the Old Fashioned...although to be honest I prefer it with rye.
Mint Juleps with Makers Mark.....reminds me of Mojitos....

Noah’s Mill - straight, but if it's very hot I'll have an ice cube too :)

Personally, I prefer a favorite Rum over an ice cube,... or in a cocktail, occasionally..., but when I'm not feeling up to par, a Hot Toddy made with Knob Creek really hits the spot.

I'm partial to a Manhattan, although I usually prefer it with Rye.

I've had a few Bourbons and the only Bourbon I have at home is Maker's Mark. Since I have such a weak girly palette :) for any 40% abv for that matter, I have to mix them with Cola to dissable or unpower the harsh taste.. however no Bourbon, for me so far, is better mixed than Rye Whisky with Cola.
The Rye just ads this distinct favorable flavour for me over the Bourbons, I've tasted so far.
Hands-down a Sazerac, as long as the bourbon isn't sweet. (Rye is the preferred spirit for the drink.)
If all you've got is a sweet bourbon (or there's no absinthe/pernod/herbsaint or peychaud's bitters to be found), then Old Fashioned would be my next choice.

So far for me I've had and enjoyed: Knob Creek, JD Black Label, Gentleman Jack, Bulliet Frontier, Buffalo Trace, Woodford Reserve, Makers Mark.

You might want to try a bourbon with a high rye content to mix with your cola. Two I like are Four Roses Single Barrel and Bulleit. Makers Mark has wheat in the mash bill instead of rye, making it a bit lighter. Makers would not go well with cola, though is nice with ice and a good beginners bourbon. I rarely mix whiskey with cola, but when I do its only with Coke in a glass bottle made with real sugar, makes a big difference.

Anything from Willett's. Some are just a bit better than others.

I enjoy many bourbons neat, or with a little bit of water.
When mixing, a manhattan (even better with rye than bourbon) is quite nice.

Thanks DJ! I'll keep Four Roses and Bulleit which are both available at my Provincial Liquor Stores.

Not a bourbon, but........Finally opened up the Jack Daniel's Single Barrel, this is a very nice TN whiskey, liking it way better than the Black Label. They should just sell this instead  :P Definitely highly recommend. Very smooth for the ABV, very tasty.

I love a cocktail I call the Kentucky Crocodile[ (http://therumhowlerblog.wordpress.com/cocktails/the-kentucky-crocodile/).
Simple 50 - 50 mix of Kentucky Straight Bourbon and Diplomatico Hacienda Saruro over ice with a lime garnish.
