Elettaria

After trying to find this relatively new place and then giving up after walking until my feet hurt to0 much to continue, I finally found Eletarria (http://www.elettarianyc.com) in New York City last night. Not only do they have a nice cocktail menu with things like Mai Tais, Grog and Zombies they also have some good rums and they know how to mix them. Lynette is managing the bar and is really enjoying her new job, and it shows.

But not only were the drinks good, I happened to meet several tiki central (http://www.tikiroom.com/tikicentral/bb/) members and some new friends. It's a small world.

Word of warning - Lynnette and Elettaria have had a falling out and she is no longer associated with them. In addition, Brian Miller, who co-lead the bar with Lynnette when not working at Death & Co., has also left.

No word on any plans for changes at the Elettaria bar yet, but just FYI that they have lost two of the best bartenders in town.
