I smoked one of the best non Cuban cigars that I have tasted in quite awhile tonight. It is the Rocky Patel Decade Torpedo. I am not usually a fan of his cigars, but this one is special. Delicious, rich, full of flavor. I smoked two thirds of it before I tried a rum, went with my go-to Eldorado 15. Not bad, but I think this cigar needs a drier rum. Maybe an agricole. After I aquire some more, I will try different rums. CA Mag rated this cigar extremely high, and I know we have discussed why some do not like the mag, but this review of a cigar was right on. I tried another size of this cigar a while back, and did not care for it as much. It just goes to show you how flavor profiles can be very different within the same line of cigars.

Rum like cigars are a personal experience. And like rum you can't judge the whole line by one member of the family.

I've only had one or two Decades, they are quite good.

On a similar not, I just picked up a box of Indian Tabac 10th Anniversary and can't wait to try one

Torp, let me know what you think of those after you taste them.
