London Pina Colada Competition

Dear All... well, especially anyone headed over to London for the BarShow...

The Rum Club and Elements 8 rum are holding the inaugural Pina Colada competition at the Pre Bar Show Rum Club at Trailer Happiness.

The idea is to revolutionise the Pina Colada... it must contain 50ml (2oz) Elements 8 and coconut and pineapple but after that there are no rules…

As its BarShow we expect its going to be a large gathering of bartenders and we expect a fair few entries so we are going to have to pre-select to find the best 20 to 'compete' on the night.

We are thinking to get as many recipes as possible and then produce a Rum Club Pina Colada ‘book’… so even if you aren’t going but have a recipe you would like to share then send it through…

Its all a bit of rumfun really but hey… you never know what we may turn up…

please note we had to change one thing, and now request that recipes be submitted prior to the competition so that we cn pre-select 20 contenders. this is because of the overwhelming response we have had to date and because many of the ingredients require pre-prep work...
