Two things i really love is rum and pasta.
Usually rum its not used in a meat sauce (not what i know of anyway) but wine.
So i added rum to one of my pasta meat sauces and i used Lemon Hart Demerara 151. If you want to try the recipe is in the rum recipes.

I said, as italian and big consumer of pasta, that pasta and rum were not born for being eaten together. Perphaps whisky in same few recipe, but rum...no. :p

:D:D:D..HaHa..i KNOW that! thats why i made the experiment! but i can tell it doesn`t taste bad at all becuse the demerara in small amount has rich flavor which goes well with the meat. It actually does!:D

mmmm that sounds like it may be good, i've been interested in cooking with rum for a while now, but i'm somewhat new too cooking, perhaps ill try out your recipe
