Hello All - I've been reading all the great information here so I signed up and wanted to say Hello!
Most of my experience with Rum has been with Rum and Coke over the years and usually the light rum category (Captain Silver, Bacardi, etc). This has become somewhat boring and I really wanted to start trying some of the aged Rum's and really appreciate it more. I started reading different forums on the net to see what else is out there and get some perspective.
I picked up some Santa Teresa 1796 and some Mount Gay XO the other day but haven't tried them yet.
I live in Orlando and look forward to the discussions.
Michael
