At the end of the day, settled in a comfy chair with a glass of your favorite beverage in hand, there is more often than not a loyal canine companion (or two) by your feet.
Mine are a Bearded Collie and a Norfolk Terrier.
What's yours?

I've put an image of this fellow up before (in this section, in fact) but as we're prompted to do it again, I present "Yuffy" our Boxer/Lab mix again. He's a wonderfully good natured and loyal companion, obedient and good hearted. My favorite member of the animal kingdom, it's hard to ask for more from a dog than he delivers. Not a fighter....a lover:D

Nobody else here have a dog they are proud of? I thought this topic would be hot.

This is "Liza", A 13 year old Schipperke. Bred to maintain order on Belgian barges. Here, she is maintaining order inside the house during a ferocious thunderstorm.
She is also very happy when she is riding on a boat, getting a faceful of spray.http://img84.imageshack.us/img84/7369/llizaae4.jpg By jimminpr (http://profile.imageshack.us/user/jimminpr), shot with CYBERSHOT (http://profile.imageshack.us/camerabuy.php?model=CYBERSHOT&make=SONY) at 2008-09-11

This is Tatham (tay, tum)
He's a 10 month old Mastiff/Husky/German Sheppherd.
He's huge but very gentle--our 100lb baby.
Being on the deck in the sun is one of his favorite spots. (ours too!)

Here's Bongo. Her official AKC bred is "kick dog" (I think) [I hope my wife doesn't read this!] Seriously, she is a good little girl. As you can see she fits in a ballcap - all nine pounds of her. The best part is she doesn't drink much so it leaves more for me. Bongo is three years old: 21 in dog years.
